The Device Properties grid displays either PnP information or USB descriptors, for the node selected in the USB Device Tree. The toolbar buttons at the top of the property grid, allow the display contents to be changed from PnP Properties to USB Descriptors.
Plug-and-Play Device
Properties, include many properties which are available from the
PnP Manager. These include properties such as Description, Setup Class,
Class GUID, Device Class Enumerator, and Hardware ID. In cases where a
device supplies a device interface, its Interface GUID, Symbolic Link, and
associated Device Name are also given.
The Device Properties - Descriptors view can display
Device, Full Configuration, or Hub Descriptors. In the example to the right,
a full configuration descriptor is shown for a Mass Storage device. Note that
the full configuration consists of a configuration descriptor, and an interface
and two endpoint descriptors. Each nested descriptor can be expanded or contracted by
clicking on the '+' or '-' button.
